Kameron Looft

Kameron Looft – UGA Risk Management, Insurance Student

A University of Georgia (UGA) student from Alpharetta, Georgia, Kameron Looft, will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance in 2026. While at UGA, Kameron Looft has not only been a diligent student but has also been involved with the campus community.

Mr. Looft has acquired risk management and insurance skills related to loss prevention and liability assessment, incident documentation and compliance, and risk analysis and mitigation strategies. The technical skills he has mastered are financial modeling and risk forecasting, data analysis and risk reporting, and supply chain and inventory management systems.

In addition to his studies, Mr. Looft is a member of the Beta Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma, where he was also, at one time in 2023, the risk management team member. This role involved him identifying and mitigating liability within the fraternity’s operations. He also created safety protocols for social events and new member onboarding. Mr. Looft also collaborated with executive leadership to make sure that the fraternal organization was compliant with university and national risk policies. He also has assisted in incident documentation and reporting as part of accountability.

Mr. Looft’s role at UGA extends to the greater community. He has contributed over 40 hours of community service to the local Athens area. In his free time, he enjoys watching soccer, playing video games such as FIFA, playing golf and soccer, and working out.
